Born to Walk This Path
Bless the Lord for all that He has given me. Bless the Lord for the gift of life.
When I was seven years old, my spiritual vision began to open.
I started having vivid dreams, visions, profound coincidences, and experiences that I struggled to understand. Some people call this the “third eye”—a metaphor for spiritual sight and the ability to perceive realities beyond the ordinary.
As I grew older, I became deeply curious about the mysteries unfolding before me. I wanted to understand the meaning of my dreams, spontaneous visions, spiritual experiences, and the strange patterns that seemed to follow my life.
That curiosity became an insatiable search for spiritual truth.
I sought books, teachers, traditions, communities, techniques, experiences, and sacred places that might help me understand what I was going through. Without realizing it, I had begun walking a path that would shape the rest of my life.
Then adulthood came.
With it came temptation, struggle, confusion, and the unresolved wounds and patterns passed down through generations.
My search for truths outside the mainstream often made me the black sheep. I struggled to belong among people who could not understand the way I saw the world. Because of my unusual beliefs, words, and practices, I was judged, rejected, and even labeled a “cult leader.”
The loneliness affected me deeply.
Combined with the destructive patterns I believed I had inherited from my bloodline, I began spiraling into negativity, vices, and promiscuity.
Yet I never completely stopped searching.
My life became a cycle of confusion and clarity—a constant dance between hedonism and asceticism, indulgence and discipline, darkness and the search for light.
In 2019, while I was in Siargao, I reached the darkest point of my life. I came close to ending it.
But something changed.
I chose to continue living.
One dream led to another. One experience opened the way to the next. Eventually, I was led to move to Siquijor—to live here, serve here, and continue the mission I believed had been unfolding since childhood.
Over the next five years, I devoted myself to healing, discipline, prayer, spiritual practice, and understanding my own life.
In learning to heal myself, I also learned how to accompany others through suffering, confusion, and ailments they understand as spiritually rooted.
Gradually, the story of my life began to make sense.
The visions of my childhood.
The searching.
The loneliness.
The mistakes.
The darkness.
The healing.
The years I spent trying to understand who I was and why I had been given this life.
Today, I live with a clearer sense of purpose.
Perhaps I had to walk through all of it—not because every mistake was necessary, but because even the darkest chapters of my life could be transformed into wisdom, compassion, and service.
The child who searched for answers grew into a man who now helps others search for healing.
My life has come full circle.
And I know that my journey is not yet finished.
I was born to walk this path.
I was born to serve.
Glory be to God. ![]()
