A few photos from our first Siquijor Traditional Healing Foundations course at Siquijor Healers School, held on September 2, 2026!
In this course, we don’t simply teach different methods of traditional healing. More importantly, we begin by learning how to listen to the person, prepare oneself, observe, use pakiramdam (intuitive awareness), assess, discern, and choose an appropriate way to help.
We demonstrate the practices and let our students experience them firsthand, while explaining how and why they are done.

Our goal is not only to remember or document Siquijor’s healing traditions, but to keep them alive through practice, teaching, responsible adaptation, and the passing of knowledge to the next generation.
